Angel Food Panini and Pumpkin Spice White Chocolate Mocha Coffee

The New Orleans Saints are kicking bootay and taking names on my television. My munchkins are both napping. My husband is chopping onions in the kitchen. I have a sauce simmering on the stove for our grilled pork chops and pumpkin ravioli for dinner. The bay window is open and Fall is in the air.

Peppermint Mocha

I’ve gotten some e-mails after my blog from yesterday asking why I teased about a Peppermint Mocha, but did not share my recipe.

Our oldest munchkin came home from school feeling unwell on Tuesday and since then it’s gotten progressively worse.

Her temperature keeps spiking and we give her Tylenol/Motrin every few hours. Last night she climbed in bed with Mommy and Daddy crying around midnight and neither of us slept well.

I’m on my 3rd cup of coffee today because I feel like I could just nod off. Continue reading

I don’t bake much anymore for a few reasons. One Al and I are both diabetics, and we don’t need the extra sugars. Two, we would eat them much too quickly with a nice cold glass of milk, and three, there is only the two of us, so I don’t bake hardly, besides I cook more than I want!! LOL

But, tonight Al is calm, except for his very sore thumb, so I decided to turn one of the music stations on the television. It is the CD that is from the seventies music, and then I turned it up a little bit high, and went to the kitchen and decided to give Martha Stewart’s Pumpkin doughnut muffins a try.
