I love Fall. My kids love Halloween.
I love projects and I love to let my kids do fun things and see the joy on their faces. There is nothing better than seeing your kids happy. And the simplest things make them happy.
Every year, I carve pumpkins and I love it. I love letting my kids get excited about the designs. I like getting my hands full of pumpkin guts and and roasting the seeds. I love how they look all lit up and on display.
I don’t love that they start to rot within 2 days and I don’t like that I end up finishing them alone because my babies get bored and my husband is just not into it. 🙂
I’ve just ordered my 9 foot prelit Christmas tree. My Halloween party menu is planned, now working on the decorations. My house is completely decorated for Fall and I’m getting our Thanksgiving menu planned. My daughter’s 5th birthday is also in November and I am in party prep mode. Menu and decor are “almost” done. And Christmas Lists are almost ready to start being checked off.
Today was an atypical, “typical” day in the Turner house.
Munchkin Number Two, popped up in my bed at around 5:30AM, waking up the sleeping kitten and the sleeping Mommy. After 10 minutes of giggling with the kitten and swimming in my bed, put him in his room with a CD and got back in bed.
Munchkin Number One, appeared soon after to “check on her kitten”. Apparently it was time for us to get up.
Told them to go play for a minute while I got dressed and got the sleepy out of my system. 3 minutes later, I hear a crash, something shattering, and 2 Munchkins screaming for Mommy.
